Pray for the people of India

There has been much persecution of Christian believers in India. However, there has always been caste discrimination of disadvantaged classes, especially the Dalits. Many of these have been campaigning for freedom of religious choice. The Australian Prayer Network reports that many have collectively decided to become Buddhist. Many others have decided to become Christians. Many Indian Christians have championed their right to freedom of choice, whichever religion they espouse. Pray that many of them will come to experience that in Christ alone is the path to a forgiven and intimate relationship with God the Father. Pray that the churches will work to remove the caste distinctions that sometimes operate even within churches.
