Encouraging E-mail From Pakistan

The following is part of a message that was sent by someone we do not know.

Have you been disappointed by a decision taken by others that has seemingly negatively effected you and your future? Are you suffering the pain and emotional anguish and a wounded self-image because of this? The heart rendering question “Why me?” , “I did not deserve this, but---”.

When we look closer at both Jesus and Moses we see that Good had something far greater in store for both of them. Our Lord rose from the dead and conquered the enemy and now all principalities and powers are under His feet! Moses was trained and prepared by God for the greatest privilege ever bestowed on a man ˆ to meet with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration and commune with Jesus about His future; His death, burial, resurrection and ascension. Moses‚ life was so important to God, even if he was not aloud into Canaan, God sent the Archangel Michael (Jude 9) to contend with the devil for his body! That means that he remained special to God.

God has something better in store for you and me. You are still important to the Lord and His Kingdom. The disappointment, hurt, the shattered confidence and wounded self-image are all preparation for something bigger. Remember you Lord has something greater in store for you. Both Moses and Jesus, in their time of disappointment were only going through a period of transition. From this Old World into a glorious future via the disappointment and the pain, the wounds and the questions.
