  • Commitment to Christ
    A Christian is a person who has repented of sin and placed his or her faith in Christ as Saviour and Lord Acts 20: 21; Philippians 2: 5-11

  • Personal salvation through Christ alone
    The only way to find eternal peace with God is through a relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no other way: secular or religious. Acts 4: 10-12; John 14: 6

  • Commitment to the Bible
    The believer seeks to live by the principles of the Word of God: with regard to salvation, growth to be more like Christ, morality, ethics and human relationships and sexuality. 2 Timothy 3: 16-17

  • Commitment to grow
    The whole of the Christian life on this earth is a pilgrimage of growth in relationship with God: saturated in the Scriptures and refilled with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4: 15-16; 5: 18-19; Colossians 3: 16

  • Commitment to Evangelism
    We want to see the lost saved. John 13: 34-35; Romans 10: 14-17

  • Commitment to World Mission
    We support mission within Australia and overseas. Matthew 28: 18-20

  • It is God alone who gives the growth
    People and technology are used by God, but salvation and growth come only when he himself moves. 1 Corinthians 3: 6-7

  • The Availability of Healing
    The Bible encourages people to pray for healing as well as forgiveness. James 5: 13-18

  • Discipling, Training, Equipping, Imparting and Commissioning
    Sharing the knowledge, skills and abilities we have from God. Our church will discern, train and open areas for people to serve. This will include equipping to minister in other environments such as in the work-place. Matthew 28: 18-20; 2 Timothy 2: 1-7

  • Commitment to God's Church
    The Christian life includes loyalty to a local church where people grow and spread the Gospel in an atmosphere of cooperation. 1 Corinthians 12: 12-27

  • God's Agenda for his Church
    God will complete his plan when Christ returns. His plan includes the restoration and fulfilment of all his creations. The church has a central role in the meantime. The Holy Spirit will guide us as to what to do as a body. Ephesians 1: 9-10, 22-23

  • The uniqueness Each Member
    Every born-again member is chosen by God from eternity. Ephesians 1: 4-5

  • The Fulfilment of Each Member
    Everything works for the ultimate good of believers. Romans 8: 28

    We belong to one another and we need one another. 1 Corinthians 12: 12-27; Ephesians 4: 16

    The "people of God" transcends churches and denominations. John 10: 16

    We want people to feel welcome. Romans 12: 13; 13: 8-10

    Christian giving involves faithful stewardship of the resources God has given us, and the practice of generosity with a cheerful heart. 2 Corinthians 9: 6-15

  • Living in a manner that shows God's love to be credible
    A lifestyle of integrity reflects the character of the Father who can be trusted in all things. 1 Peter 1: 13-17; 2: 9-10, 16

  • Professionalism in Administration
    Relevance and intelligibility are Christian values. Because of the Love commandments we plan to help people communicate with us and with God. That is why we use contemporary communications and information technology. 1 Corinthians 13: 1-8 & 14: 26, 40
